Job IntroductionPDS Tech is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Kinston, NC. The ideal candidates have CNC or press machine experience and thrive in precision-driven environments. In this role, you will set up and operate advanced machine tools, interpret technical blueprints, and produce high-quality parts that meet exact specifications. Job Duties:
Sets up and operates a variety of machine tools to make parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions.
Interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
Determines sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup; uses a variety of machinists hand tools and precision measuring instruments
Makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds
Measures, spans, and scribes dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining
Fits and assembles precision parts into mechanical equipment and determines material, parts, and equipment required.
Some machines may be numerically controlled.
Requirements:
Previous CNC Machine operation/Press Machine Operation
High School Diploma or GED
Languages: English (Speak, Read, Write)

Pay Details: $31.34 per hour
