Commercial Training Manager
Job Description:

We’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. We challenge what’s possible. From breaking the sound barrier to advanced tiltrotor systems. Today, Bell is shaping the future of aviation through Commercial Sales training. And we want you.

Commercial Training Manager

Join Bell’s Commercial organization and lead the design, delivery, and administration of our training programs. Create and be responsible for our commercial development program —a rotational experience that builds future-ready talent across Aircraft & Aftermarket Sales, Customer Experience, Programs, Operations, Finance, Contracts, and Compliance. You will partner with leaders across the business to ensure participants gain the skills and experiences needed to excel in customer-facing roles, while driving program governance, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes.

What you’ll be doing as a Commercial Training Manager

  • Design, establish, and continuously improve the Sales Development Program (SDP) structure (rotations, duration, scope, learning objectives) to achieve Program objectives.
  • Establish program standards, policies, calendar, and operating mechanisms; manage day-to-day operations and logistics.
  • Build and coordinate delivery of training modules (sales methodologies, customer engagement, CRM utilization, business acumen) in alignment with regional Sales hiring managers to align skills development with future role requirements.
  • Support campus recruiting activities; lead SDP recruiting, assessment, and selection of program participants and Commercial interns in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
  • Facilitate development sessions, including sales concepts, role plays, and applied learning in business scenarios.
  • Coordinate rotation assignments with leaders across Sales, Customer Experience, Programs, Operations, Finance, Contracts, and Compliance and manage training objectives to align with program objectives and real business needs.
  • Coordinate post-program placement for successful SDP graduates; manage handoffs with hiring managers.
  • Have direct oversight of the SDP participants, set development goals and learning plans, as well as provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.
  • Partner with the support functions to ensure succinct training and successful program outcomes.
Job Requirements:

Skills You Bring To this Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Education/Training, or other related field; other Bachelor’s degrees paired with relevant experience in Sales, Marketing, Learning & Development, or Program/Project Management will be considered.
  • 5 years of overall experience in Sales, Marketing, Learning & Development, and/or Program/Project Management.
  • Experience with or demonstrated ability to design and/or deliver training (classroom, virtual, or blended) for customer-facing teams.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills; ability to teach and coach others as well as build constructive relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking by using data to assess program effectiveness, diagnose issues, and implement solutions quickly.
  • Experience as an early-career or rotational program (e.g., sales development, leadership development) participant or leader preferred.
  • Background in aviation/aerospace or complex B2B sales environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, instructional design, and assessment methods preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce preferred) and AI tools preferred.

What we offer you in return

  • You’ll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule
  • 80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO)
  • 120 hours Vacation time
  • 12-13 paid holidays per year
  • 6 weeks parental leave
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Competitive salary
  • Comprehensive health insurance
  • On-site clinic, pharmacy, physical therapy, and licensed counselor
  • Access to more than 11 Employee Resource Groups
  • And so much more

It’s time to make your mark on the future of aviation. Join us on this mission, and let’s make history together.
