A&P Mechanic

Job Description:

Position OverviewAircraft Technician 1 responsible for performing heavy maintenance, phase maintenance, and scheduled inspections on aircraft
Required Qualifications

5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience required; non-corporate aviation; no airlines
Required experience includes conducting heavy maintenance / phase maintenance / scheduled inspections
Demonstrated ability to read and understand maintenance manuals/publications
Demonstrated ability to use various hand and power tools
Demonstrated ability to remove/install components and panels
Demonstrated ability to tow aircraft
Demonstrated ability to jack aircraft
Demonstrated ability to install safety wire
Demonstrated ability to operate a multimeter
Demonstrated ability to perform basic troubleshooting
Demonstrated ability to perform basic servicing including oil, hydraulics, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in general mechanics
Must possess basic tools

Preferred Qualifications

A&P license preferred or ability to obtain license
